SAVE OUR TREES…TOGETHER!
The missions of Save our Trees and WSA are so closely aligned, we knew we would all be more effective if we joined forces. On April 24, 2023, Save Our Trees officially became a program under Anne Arundel Watershed Stewards Academy.
Save Our Trees was founded by 5 amazing women, 2 of whom are Watershed Stewards, who came together to stop ivy and invasive vines from killing our canopy trees. Through action at ivy clearing events, education to homeowner communities, and help from hundreds of volunteers, Save Our Trees has already cleared ivy from more than 6,700 trees since 2022!
