Join the Friends of Quiet Waters Park for guided walks, WSA’s Save Our Trees invasive ivy removals, a self-guided walk of Watershed Stewards Native Gardens, and other featured events with experienced leaders:
Bird Walk - 9am
Spot birds, including Spring migrants, while walking through the forests, shoreline, and meadows. Bring binoculars if you can.
Invasive Species Pull - 10am
Join others in removing invasive vines in the park. Bring tools & gloves if you have them. Meet at Blue Heron lot.
Woodland Walk - 11am
Walk paved trails through the forest, learning about native trees and their role in the Eastern Deciduous Forest System.
Shinrin-Yoku - the Art of Forest Bathing - 1pm
Engage in a peaceful slow walk to engage the senses while immersed in the natural environment.
Self-Guided Storybook Walk - All Day
Stroll leisurely with children, following pages of a children’s book on signs by Eastport-Annapolis Neck Library.
Self-Guided Tour of New Interpretive Signs & Watershed Stewards Native Gardens - All Day
