Ask a Master Watershed Steward Training

This year, we are launching the first ever, Ask a Master Watershed Steward program at the Crofton Library! Modeled after the Ask a Master Gardener booth, Stewards will man a table from 10 am to noon on Saturdays starting April 14th. Stewards will field questions from homeowners about stormwater management, distribute outreach materials, and help those interested to sign up to receive more information.

Sound like something you would like to be a part of? Here are the basics:

Where: Crofton Library

When: Saturdays from April 14th through the end of October

Time Commitment: 1 – 2 hours per month

We are asking Stewards joining the program to try to commit to running this table one Saturday per month from 10 a.m. to noon. Even if you can’t commit to that much time, please sign up. We hope to have at least two stewards at the table each Saturday, so we need all the help we can get.

We will have a short one hour orientation and training session at Arlington Echo April 3rd from 5:30-6:30 pm. Register here.

For more information, please contact Tara Mairs, Outreach Coordinator, at tmairs@aacps.org.
