Annapolis Landing: Beards Creek is the 3rd most polluted creek on the South River. This stream restoration project, completed in May, 2021 is located in the community of Annapolis Landing in Riva, MD. It was designed by BioHabitats, constructed by Meadville Land Service.

Camp Woodlands: This project has just begun construction! Come see the start of the project and learn about the plans to restore the function of the stream, and restore lost and enhance existing habitat and wetlands.

DETAILS: Park on the road at Cosworth Court in Riva, MD 21140

After touring the Annapolis Landing project, we'll make our way to Camp Woodlands for part two! Wear shoes that can get muddy (tall boots are best!) Camp Woodlands has steep terrain, please let us know if that is a concern. Contact Francesca King at fking@aacps.org with questions.
