Bring sunscreen, water and waders or hip boots if you have them. Arlington Echo has a limited supply.

The Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC) is continuing its experimental study on marsh restoration, focused on phragmites removal and native plantings. The research team, led by Dennis Whigham is requesting volunteers to assist.

The marsh next to our office location, Arlington Echo, has been one of the test sites. We are looking for volunteers on Monday, July 17 and Tuesday, July 18 from 1 - 2:30pm to help with the next phase of this exciting pilot experiment! More details here.
