The Anne Arundel county Department of Public Works (DPW) would like to inform you about a Capital Improvement Project in your area. This project is part of the County’s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve critical infrastructure that supports safe, reliable and sustainable communities.
About the Project
This project is for the desig nand construction of stream and wetland restoration projects necessary to comply with Federal and State clean water requirements in the upper Magothy watershed, draining to Lake Waterford. This work will help satisfy both MS4 and local Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) requirements. It will also help reduce future dredging pressure on the lake.
The project is located between MD Route 2 and MD Route 10. Total project length is approximately 3,300 linear feet. Construction is currently scheduled to start in 2028.
