The Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works (DPW) would like to inform you about a Capital Improvement Project in your area. This project is part of the County’s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve critical infrastructure that supports safe, reliable and sustainable communities.
About the Project:
This project is for the design and construction of a stream and wetland restoration project necessary to comply with Federal and State clean water requirements in the Little Patuxent Watershed.
The project is located within the Oxbow Natural Area in the Russett Community in Laurel, Maryland. The Oxbow is an ecologically significant ecosystem of the Little Patuxent River identified as a high priority for restoration. Refer to the Project Area Map on the next page. The total project length is approximately 1,300 linear feet. Construction is expected to start as early as summer 2027 and will be accessed via Brock Bridge Road.
