Join Steward Pam Hanna to help improve the Native Garden at the intersection of Jones Station Road and Ritchie Highway, next to the Severna Park Farmers Market. Volunteers will refresh a walking path, lay burlap coffee bags beneath it, and spread mulch to create a more accessible path through the garden. Visitors to the Farmers Market often stop to learn about the project, making this a great opportunity to engage with the community while volunteering.

Location:
Native Garden at the intersection of Jones Station Road and Ritchie Highway, adjacent to the Severna Park Farmers Market.

What to bring:
Gloves, shovels, rakes, insect protection, a refillable water bottle, and, if possible, a gallon jug of water for the plants. The site is dry and shaded, and extra water for the garden is appreciated.
