WSA Capstone: Children's Native Plant Garden at Quiet Waters Park

  • Quiet Waters Park - Children's Playground 600 Quiet Waters Park Road Annapolis, MD, 21403 United States (map)

Come Help Plant Native Plants at the Children's Playground in Quiet Waters Park!

Please join us as we complete our capstone project for the Watershed Steward Academy!  We plan to create a natural space next to the playground that invites children and families to explore, learn, and discover the joy and beauty of native plants. The garden will feature plants that you can touch, smell, and observe throughout the seasons. We’ll also be installing a bilingual lending library of children’s books about the environment in English and Spanish.

When: Sunday, April 26 | 1:30–3:30 PM
Where: Children’s Playground, across from the White Oak Pavilion
What to bring: Sturdy shoes, water, and garden gloves. Tools provided.
Sign up here!

You can park in the parking lot across the street from the playground near White Oak Pavilion or on the east side of the playground near the dragonfly statue. Tools will be provided, but please bring garden gloves, water, and your own tools if you prefer.  SNACKS WILL BE PROVIDED!
