ANNUAL AWARDS

Each year the Anne Arundel County Watershed Stewards Academy honors volunteer Watershed Stewards and the environmental professionals who support their action for clean water.

2023 Ann Jackson Steward of the year Award: Candy Dayton, Dawn Taft, and Thom Marston

The Master Watershed Steward of the Year is awarded to a Steward(s) who excels in engaging their community to reduce pollution. In 2023, the award was reanmed the Ann Jackson Steward of the Year Award, to honor the legacy of Ann Jackson, Class 1 Watershed Steward and first ever winner of the award.
