Join WSA’s Board of Directors
Anne Arundel County Watersheds Stewards Academy is seeking board members! As a member of WSA's board, you will be a part of a dynamic and dedicated team who guide WSA in our pursuit of an ambitious and exciting strategic plan. All board positions are voluntary and unpaid. WSA Board Members are inspired by hands-on restoration projects, share a passion for community engagement and clean water for ALL.
Time Commitment
6-8 hours monthly; see WSA Board Job Description for details
The Board of Directors meets 8 times a year, typically the second Monday of the month 5-7 p.m. Most meetings are held remotely via google meet or zoom, with 3-4 meetings per year in person.
Experience
We are seeking board members with experience and or expertise in any of the following areas:
Experience with non-profit environment sector, for-profit business sector, educational institutions, and religious or faith-based institutions.
Expertise in law, finance, real estate, marketing, fundraising, and organizational development
Interest in advancing and advocating for diversity, equity, and justice in Anne Arundel County
Representation of northern, western, or southern Anne Arundel County
